Southern EuropeMy Italy "Italia" Travel Poster features a pattern I drew after an imaginary vacation to see rolling Tuscan green fields, thick iron gates, and that glowing Tuscan sun.
This pattern was one of the first drawings from my "Places I Have Never Been - Imaginary Vacations" series, which I started in the early 2000s. The movie "Under The Tuscan Sun" had just come out, leaving me smitten with terra cotta dilapidated homes, Diane Lane's perfect white dress, olives, wine, Vespas... If you close your eyes and imagine it - you can almost feel that golden sun on your shoulders.
